Ameca is the world’s most advanced humanoid head/torso robot for human-robot interaction, built by Engineered Arts in Cornwall, UK. It features a remarkably lifelike face with dozens of facial micro-actuators that produce convincing expressions, plus articulated arms and a torso. Ameca is widely used at exhibitions, research labs, and museums. It integrates with large language models and speech systems to converse naturally and is sold globally as a research and entertainment platform. A bipedal version is in active development.
